At WBA, we recommend kids to start at age 7, when their mobility and learning abilities have developed enough to absorb proper techniques and footwork. For children starting below the age of 7, their training programs would be focused on developing basic mobility skills that will help support their future development.

WBA welcomes students of all ages, regardless of skill level. Currently, we have a wide age range of students, from 5 to 50 years old.

Yes! Trial classes give both the student and coach the opportunity to see if the coaching style and learning needs are a good fit.

Players should consider the coach’s playing background, coaching experience, and teaching approach. While great players are not always great coaches, a solid understanding of the game can help coaches demonstrate techniques and guide students more effectively.

Yes! As a team of coaches who have played competitively both locally and internationally, we understand the needs of players who are keen to compete. We tailor their training programs according to their age group and the time remaining before competition.

Students are grouped based on age, ability, and coaches’ assessment.

For cancellations or rescheduling made more than 7 days in advance, only the court fee will be charged. For cancellations or rescheduling made less than 7 days in advance, the full session fee will be charged accordingly. This policy also applies to no-shows, meaning if you do not attend the training session on the scheduled day. Refer to WBA Terms and Condition Clause 5(a).

Upon finalizing that month’s training arrangements, payment will be collected at the start of the month and/or when the academy sends out payment invoices (normally within the first two weeks).
